Commissioning of dual three-lane carriageway of Tai Po Road (Sha Tin Section)
Dual three-lane carriageway at Tai Po Road (Sha Tin Section) between Sha Tin Plaza near Sha Tin Rural Committee Road and Man Wo House of Wo Che Estate near Fo Tan Road of around 1.1 km long is anticipated to be commissioned for northbound and southbound carriageway on 2nd and 23rd June 2024 (Sundays) respectively.
To facilitate the respective road works, some traffic lanes of northbound carriageway will be temporarily closed from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m on the same day. The similar temporary road closure will be implemented from 1 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. on the same day.
For the installation of noise barriers and enclosure, temporary traffic arrangement for road closure will be implemented in non-peak hours at night time only.
