Arrangement of Speed Limit Restoration on
Tai Po Road - Sha Tin Section (Northbound)
(Implementation Time: 2 a.m. on 31st October 2024)

To improve traffic flow and ensure road safety under “Road Widening and Retrofitting Noise Barriers on Tai Po Road (Sha Tin Section)” project, the speed limit on the Tai Po Road - Sha Tin Section (Northbound) (from Scenery Court to Fo Tan Road) will be resumed to 80 km/h at 2 a.m. on 31 October 2024 (refer to the attached Figure).

The above speed limit arrangement has been endorsed by relevant Government departments and will be published in Government Notice issued by Transport Department later.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. All motorists are requested to abide by the new speed limits and drive safely to ensure the safety of themselves and other road users.
