Temporary Arrangement of Carriageway at Tai Po Road (Sha Tin Section)
between Citylink and Shatin Pui Ying College
(Late November 2022 to End 2023)

To facilitate construction of the “Road widening and retrofitting noise barriers on Tai Po Road (Sha Tin Section)” project, some sections of carriageway at Tai Po Road (Sha Tin Section) will be temporarily realigned in several stages (see the attached figure) for road widening, construction of noise barrier foundation, diversion of sewerage pipes and etc.

During the works period, section of Tai Po Road (Sha Tin Section) between Shatin Pui Ying College and Wo Che Street Footbridge (Kowloon Direction), between Citylink and Shatin Tsung Tsin School (Tai Po Direction) and between Sha Tin Rural Committee Road under flyover and New Town Plaza Bus Terminus (Kowloon Direction) will be temporarily realigned. The number of traffic lanes and road speed will remain unchanged.

During the above mentioned period, the affected area will be fenced off and appropriate signs will be displayed to guide road users.
